Platygyra daedalea transcriptomic and genomic resources

This dataset contains raw reads for 3 genetic resources used for describing the thermal tolerance in the hard coral Platygyra daedalea in the Persian/Arabian Gulf. This study used larvae from controlled crosses to determine if thermal tolerance was heritable and determine the genetic basis for this thermal tolerance. The three datasets included are: 1) A transcriptome created from pooled aposymbiotic larvae from a single cross and from eggs from the maternal colony. 2) 2bRAD tag reads from 10 parental colonies contributing gametes to the crosses used in thermal tolerance assays. 3) RNA seq data from 12 crosses subjected to a factorial temperature x salinity experiment used to determine both tolerance to thermal and salinity stressors.
