Payment methods in the Netherlands in 2018, with a forecast for 2023

Respondents in the Netherlands mention they will use cash money and SEPA transfers less frequently. Mobile payments (which includes retail sales, but also occurences on a mobile website or P2P payments) and contactless payments are believed to increase, however. Relatively new payment technologies featuring biometric features or in-car payments and IoT payments are thought to be relatively unpopular in the Netherlands.
