This dataset includes 1,893 user questions for household robots, provided by 100 participants and organized into 12 main categories and 70 subcategories. These questions range from task execution details to how robots would handle hypothetical scenarios, aiming to help roboticists understand what questions their robots need to be able to answer. The dataset was collected by exposing participants to 15 video stimuli and 7 text stimuli depicting robots performing various household tasks. The results indicate that users highly value robots ability to explain how to handle potentially difficult situations and ensure correct behavior when problems arise. Moreover, there is a difference in the types of questions asked by novice and experienced users in robotics.
