Coastal Data System - Waves (Tweed Offshore)

Measured and derived wave parameters from data collected by a wave monitoring buoy anchored at Tweed Offshore. For more information please refer to www.qld.gov.au/waves.\r\n\r\nField names are;\r\nHs - Significant wave height, an average of the highest third of the waves in a record (26.6 minute recording period).\r\nHmax - The maximum wave height in the record.\r\nTz - The zero upcrossing wave period.\r\nTp - The peak energy wave period.\r\nPeak Direction - Direction (related to true north) from which the peak period waves are coming from.\r\nSST - Sea Surface Temperature as measured by a sensor embedded in the hull of the buoy.
