This book is one of the main research outcomes of the National Science and Technology Basic Work Special Project "China's Forest Vegetation Survey" (2013FY111600), and it systematically summarizes the current status of China's forest vegetation. It covers the vegetation characteristics of more than 490 forest vegetation types across the country, and is divided into three parts: coniferous forests, broad-leaved forests, and mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forests.
