The bathymetry data set was collected using the MR1 towed sled during 2001 Melville cruise COOK07MV. The image files are in JPEG format. The data set was acquired as part of a project called Mantle Inputs to the Subduction Factory: Assessing Scales of Spatial Variability along and across the IBM Convergent Margin, and funding was provided by NSF grants OCE00-01876, OCE00-01827 and OCE00-02715.
