Daily values of resolved zonal-mean momentum fluxes based on ERA5

The dataset contains daily values of the zonal-mean vertical fluxes of zonal and meridional momentum, calculated from the resolved flow in the ERA5 reanalysis. The momentum fluxes cover the period from 1979 to 2022 and extend vertically from 120 to 6 hPa. The dataset consists of two parts: momentum fluxes associated with waves having horizontal wavelengths of up to 1,000 km (rho40 in the filename) and those associated with waves having horizontal wavelengths of up to 2,000 km (rho20 in the filename).
