资源简介:
The data files are all in Axon instruments format How to open files: Visit axon instruments to download their software. Alternatively use IGOR (Wavemetrics) and install the neuromatic software ( http://www.neuromatic.thinkrandom.com/). The vocal nerve recordings are extracellular recordings- stimulus artefact is induced either by current stimulation in the midbrain, or by implanted electrodes in the muscle. Data is composed of intracellular recordings in current clamp (i.e. Voltage changes are recorded, this is not always apparent in the axon files, ignore the labeling of the y axis). A pulse was given at the beginning of each trace by the intracellular amplifier as a way to measure the amplitude of the voltage changes. In case the RMP has an offset, this was removed afterwards (the electrode was retracted, and the offset was noted). Current that was applied to the recording electrode is also recorded. The conversion from Voltage change to current readout was done after recording, so the value you are seeing are the voltage changes given out by the amplifier. The midbrain stimulation pulse commands are in another channel (in some of the recordings), in others, it is obvious (stimulation artefact) In the following the subfolder contain the original data files, from which the data was extracted. The XLS files contains the values that were extracted Note: Look at the tree organization of the data.
