Lab 3 insect abundance

This expirament took place in the grass lands of York university. There were two specfied reigons that were studied, first being mowed grass that was cut and the second in which the grass wasnt mowed or cut. The expirament was divided into two by the group memebrs some members went around sweeping to capture insects whereas the other counted the insect species in a specfic reigon. The two reigons had 5 trials with the measuring distance of 30 feet with no overplaping of 30 feet reigon. The species of insects or vertabrates found in the reigon were identified by the closet scientific name they related too. All the insects were then retuened back into grasslads.
