Raw Clinical Data from A Retrospective Study of Ertugliflozin plus Irbesartan for Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Complicated with Hypertension: Impacts on Visceral Adiposity Indices and Major Adverse Cardiovascular Events

This dataset contains the raw clinical data from a retrospective study evaluating the efficacy and safety of ertugliflozin combined with irbesartan versus metformin combined with irbesartan in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) complicated with hypertension.The data includes:1. Baseline demographic and clinical characteristics: age, gender, body mass index (BMI), duration of T2DM and hypertension, and comorbidities.2. waist circumference (WC), and waist-to-hip ratio (WHR) measured at baseline and after 12 months of treatment.3. Glycemic and blood pressure control parameters: fasting plasma glucose (FPG), glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), systolic blood pressure (SBP), and diastolic blood pressure (DBP).4. Laboratory results: lipid profiles and renal function indicators.5. Clinical outcomes: incidence of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE), including myocardial infarction, stroke, and cardiovascular death, during the 12-month follow-up period.All data were collected from electronic medical records in accordance with ethical approval, and all personal identifiers were removed to protect patient privacy. This dataset is made publicly available to facilitate reproducible research, meta-analyses, and further investigations in the management of T2DM complicated with hypertension.
