We used microarrays to understand roles of BATF proteins in the regulation of cDC-specific gene expression. Overall design: Splenic cDCs were sort-purified from WT or Batf–/– Batf3–/– mice for RNA extraction and hybridization on Affymetrix microarrays. We sought to obtain gene expression signature that are controlled by BATF proteins for cDC populations.
