Results Monitoring Survey (RMS) - 2023

The 2023 Results Monitoring Survey (RMS) in Malawi targets refugees, asylum-seekers, and others of concern in Dzaleka Refugee Camp, Dowa, Central Region, Malawi. The objective of the survey was to assess key outcome indicators across various sectors, including education, healthcare, livelihoods, protection, shelter, and water and sanitation. The survey used a combination of in-person interviews conducted during the proGres verification exercise and phone-based interviews, utilizing a standardized questionnaire translated into English and Chichewa. Data collection methods included Computer-Assisted Personal Interviews (CAPI) and Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviews (CATI), ensuring the survey was statistically representative. The results contribute to an evidence base supporting UNHCR’s multi-year strategic reporting.
