This dataset contains the observational records of the fish species list for Dongting Lake conducted in 2009, covering the fish species found in the lake and their scientific names. It is the five-year survey outcome of the National Basic Science and Technology Work Special Project titled "Investigation on Water Quality, Water Volume and Biological Resources of China's Lakes (2006FY110600)", with reliable data quality.
