Bacterial communities`structure and diversity of intertidal biofilms along Pearl River Estuary, South China.

The aims of this study were to 1) document bacterial community composition and diversity in intertidal biofilm, 2) elucidate environmental factors influencing community composition and bacterial succession in biofilms, 3) interpret potential ecological functions in bacterial biofilms, and 4) correlate environmental variability with structural and functional shifts of bacterial communities in intertidal biofilm along Pearl River Estuary.
