Satellite imagery and field-based species diversity data for upscaling tropical forest species diversity

This data archive contains two sets of satellite imagery: PlanetScope data obtained on October 17, 2020 from https://www.planet.com/, and Sentinel data obtained on November 10, 2020 from https://scihub.copernicus.eu/. They covered the western section of the Menglun sub-reserve within the Xishuangbanna National Nature Reserve, Yunnan province of China and then were used for upscaling species diversity.

There is also one .xlsx file (species diversity.xlsx) that shows in-situ species diversity indices (Richness and Shannon-Wiener) for a total of 111 plots.
