Cleaned occurrence–environment dataset for 30 selected medicinal plant species in Malaysia

This dataset contains cleaning records and related environmental predictive variables for 30 selected medicinal plants in Malaysia. In August 2025, the Global Biodiversity Information Facility retrieved appearance records from 2014 to 2024 through API based queries, covering Malaysia and some Southeast Asian countries used as regional reference data. Subsequently, the records were cleared, coordinated, and associated with climate and terrain prediction variables (including WorldClim bioclimatic variables and SRTM elevation). The final table is used for modeling the suitability of medicinal plants and related spatial analysis. The associated research manuscript is currently under review. Publication of this dataset does not constitute prior publication of the related manuscript or its findings.
