Messenger apps global audience usage for work 2022, by age and gender

According to a survey of global working professionals conducted during the third quarter of 2022, approximately 94 percent of male users aged between 16 and 34 reported using mobile messenger apps for their work. The overall usage of chat and communication apps among male professionals was slightly higher than among female professionals. Women aged between 16 and 24 reported the highest usage of chat apps for work, while only 65.7 percent of women aged between 55 and 64 reported using apps in this category for their professional means.
