Selpercatinib mitigates cancer cachexia independent of anti-tumor activity

We determine whether the RET protein tyrosine kinase inhibitor selpercatinib alleviates skeletal muscle atrophy in the HT1080 tumor model in mice. Overall design: RNA-seq was performed (4 biological replicates/each) on gastrocnemius from 3 groups of mice. Group NTV is tumor-free mice treated with vehicle, group TV is HT1080 tumor-bearing mice treated with vehicle, group TL is HT1080 tumor-bearing mice treated with selpercatinib (30 mg/kg/day for for 19 days).
