According to a recent survey, developers working in the security industry earn the highest wages at around 55,600 U.S. dollars. Developers perform a variety of tasks, such as analyzing users' needs and designing software to meet those needs or documenting aspects of aplications as a reference for future upgrades, among many other things. Notably, there is a difference of around 15,000 U.S. dollars between the highest-paying and lowest-paying industries.
