JAMSTEC DONET
DONET (Dense Oceanfloor Network System for Earthquakes and Tsunamis) is an observatory system for earthquakes and tsunamis in deep oceanfloor areas around the Nankai trough where large subduction earthquakes have repeatedly occurred. The stations are deployed with an average spacing of 10 km. Each station has strong motion and broadband seismometers, hydrophones, differential and quartz pressure gauges, and thermometers. The system had been developed by JAMSTEC and were transferred to NIED in April 2016. Data recorded by multiple types of sensors are transmitted to NIED in real time and archived. DONET(Dense Oceanfloor Network System for Earthquakes and Tsunamis,即地震与海啸深海密集海底网络系统)是针对南海海槽(Nankai Trough)周边频繁发生大型俯冲地震的深海海底区域打造的地震与海啸观测系统。 (JAMSTEC, Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology)研发,并于2016年4月移交至日本防灾科学技术研究所(NIED, National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Resilience)。
