Lake Catchment Set

A freely available data set of inflow lakes’ catchments including lakes, location, shape, area, perimeter, etc. over the Qiangtang Plateau which is a main part of the Tibetan Plateau. The data set is derived from Landset8 images, Google Earth and DEM. It will provide important basic information for researchers to study the changes of meteorology, hydrology and environment and its mechanism in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.本数据集为免费公开的入湖流域数据集，覆盖作为青藏高原主体组成部分的羌塘高原全域，涵盖对应湖泊及其位置、形态、面积、周长等相关属性信息。该数据集基于Landset8影像、谷歌地球（Google Earth）与数字高程模型（Digital Elevation Model, DEM）构建，可为研究青藏高原气象、水文、环境变化及其作用机制的科研人员提供关键基础数据支撑。
