Small RNA sequencing in Drosophila melanogaster, D. simulans, and D. yakuba. Drosophila

This project is primarily focused on the identification of microRNAs that are expressed at late third instar larval stage (18 hour before pupation or ≥18BPF) and white prepupal stage (PF) in three close related species. An array platform subsequently customized based on the results of this project was used to estimate the expression level of microRNAs in studied strains and species.
