Dataset on Hydropower Reservoirs and FPV potential data in EU27 from the publication: Benefits of Pairing Floating Solar Photovoltaic with Hydropower Reservoirs in Europe (National and Regional Level).

Detailed geoloacted data used to estimate the Floating Photovoltaic energy output if FPV systems would be installed in operational hydropower reservoirs in EU27. The reduction of evaporation in specific reservoirs selected for four different scenarios of area coverage. For each scenario we evaluated electricity production, water savings for two alterate floating structures.
