资源简介:
We explored the mechanisms underlying the anti-obesity effect of plantain. Plantain flour was used to feed obese rats fed a high-fat diet. Six groups were set, viz., the normal control (NC), obese control (OC), low-dose (LD), middle-dose (MD), high-dose (HD), and positive control (PC). The differentially expressed genes in the liver, as well as the lipid and glucose metabolic pathways were investigated. Transcriptome analyses showed that the expression of the PPARα, CPT1A, AMPK, and PGC1α genes was upregulated in the plantain intervention groups. Conclusion: Some key genes in fatty acid and sugar metabolic pathways were regulated by the plantain diet, which probably led to the observed fat and weight loss effects. liver mRNA profiles of obese rats and obese rats treated with plantain were generated by deep sequencing, in triplicate, using Illumina NovaSeq 6000
