Jugend hat ein „Recht auf Zukunft“

Jugend ist eine Zeit des Übergangs, eine „sensible und vulnerable Phase“ massiver zerebraler Wachstums- und Veränderungsprozesse. Das adoleszente Gehirn erschließt neue Möglichkeiten der erfinderischen Phantasie, komplexer Zukunftsantizipation etc. Es braucht dazu aber Angebote, die in der Jugendarbeitslosigkeit fehlen. Massive Defizite und Entwicklungsnachteile können daraus folgen. Deshalb ist optimale Förderung ein Muss und bringt für Jugendliche und für ihre Gesellschaft nachhaltigen Gewinn. Youth is a time of transition, a ‘sensitive and vulnerable phase’ of major cerebral growth and change processes. The adolescent brain opens up new opportunities for activities such as inventive imagination and complex anticipation of the future. However, unemployment does not offer what it needs to do so, which can result in huge deficiencies and developmental handicaps.
