Samples of ICESat-2 Ground Tracks over Sand Dunes in Thar Desert Region

There are six data sets in this repository. These six data sets are associated with the six study areas with respect to the article titled "Morphological Profiles of Sand Dunes from ICESat-2 Geolocated Photons" In the above article the study areas are earmarked as S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, and S6; ICESat-2 beam data for this six study areas in the form of ESRI Shapefiles have been zipped and stored in this repository. Study area S1 consists sand sheet with barchonoid, S2 contains series of barchonoids, S3 contains compund sand dune types (megabarchnoid), S4 contains parabolic dunes, S5 contains linear dunes and finally S6 contains transverse dunes.本仓库中共收录六个数据集，所有数据集均与题为《基于ICESat-2定位光子的沙丘形态剖面》的学术论文中的六个研究区域一一对应。该论文将上述六个研究区域分别标记为S1、S2、S3、S4、S5与S6。本仓库已将这六个研究区域的ICESat-2（冰、云和陆地高程卫星2号）光束数据以ESRI Shapefile（地理信息矢量数据集格式）的形式压缩存储。其中，研究区域S1为发育有巴坎类沙丘（barchonoid）的沙席；S2包含一系列巴坎类沙丘；S3涵盖复合沙丘类型（巨型巴坎沙丘，megabarchnoid）；S4分布有抛物线沙丘；S5发育线性沙丘；最后S6则以横向沙丘为主要地貌类型。
