The dataset provides information about landscape dynamics in a diverse cultivated region which are displayed through shapefiles. The aim of the study was to calculate and visualize changing patterns in land-use, habitat diversity, urban sprawl and the structuring degree of open areas using a GIS. The study was conducted at the Stubai Valley (municipalities Fulpmes, Mieders, Telfes, Sch��nberg and Neustift)for the years 1860-2006.
