The Stipra Dataset consists of 1273 videos of regular people disposing of household products into the garbage. This dataset was created by TeknTrash, a UK research company, to provide real-time consumption data and encourage proper disposal practices. All videos are up to 60 seconds long, anonymized, and captured using an app that scans barcodes to prevent duplicate entries. The dataset is open source and suitable for any purpose, ideal for training models on object detection, action recognition, and gesture detection.
