## **Abstract** \n\nThe dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.\n\n\n\nThe aim of this dataset was to be able to map each groundwater works with the volumetric entitlement without double counting the volume and to aggregate/ disaggregate the data depending on the final use.\n\n\n\nThis has not been clipped to the North and South Sydney PAEs, therefore the number of economic assets/ relevant licences will drastically reduce once this occurs. \n\n\n\nThe North and South Sydney groundwater licences includes an extract of all licences that fell within the data management acquisition area as provided by BA to NSW Office of Water.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nProcedure: refer to Bioregional assessment data conversion script.docx\n\n\n\nThe following general steps were undertaken:\n\n\n\n1) Original spread sheets have mulitple licence instances if there are more than one WA/CA number. This means that there are more than one works or permit to the licence. The aim is to only have one licence instance. \n\n\n\n2) Using the new column of licence numbers, several vlookups were created to bring in other data. Where the columns are identical in the original spreadsheets, they are combined. The only ones that dont are the Share/Entitlement/allocation, these mean different things. \n\n\n\n3) A hydro ID column was created, this is a code that links this NSW to the NGIS, which is basically a ".1.1" at the end of the bore code.\n\n\n\n4) All 'cancelled' licences were removed\n\n\n\n5) A count of the number of works per licence and number of bores were included in the spreadsheet.\n\n\n\n6) Where the ShareComponent = NA, the Entitlement = 0, Allocation = 0 and there was more than one instance of the same bore, this means that the original licence assigned to the bore has been replaced by a new licence with a share component. 北悉尼与南悉尼地下水许可数据集涵盖了由生物区域评估计划（BA）提供给新南威尔士州水务办公室（NSW Office of Water）的数据管理采集范围内的全部许可摘录。

**数据集历史**

本次数据处理遵循以下通用步骤：

1) 若存在多个WA/CA编号，则原始电子表格中会包含多条许可条目，即一项许可对应多处工程或多个许可证。本次处理目标为将许可条目统一为单条。

2) 基于新增的许可编号列，通过多次VLOOKUP函数调用引入其他关联数据。原始电子表格中列名一致的字段将进行合并，唯有“份额（Share）/配额（Entitlement）/分配量（Allocation）”三类字段例外，三者含义各不相同。

3) 新增“水文ID（hydro ID）”字段，该编码用于关联本新南威尔士州数据与国家地下水信息系统（NGIS），其格式通常为钻孔编码末尾追加“.1.1”。

4) 移除所有已注销的许可条目。

5) 在电子表格中新增“单许可对应工程数”与“钻孔数”统计字段。

6) 当“份额组件（ShareComponent）”为空值、“配额（Entitlement）”与“分配量（Allocation）”均为0，且同一钻孔存在多条许可条目时，表明该钻孔的原许可已被带有份额组件的新许可替代。满足上述条件的重复条目将予以删除。

7) 新增“单工程水量”字段，确保许可总水量不会因每项工程重复统计，而是按工程数量进行均摊分配。
