RNA Sequencing Analysis of Treated J-Lat 5a8 Cells

Treatment of J-Lat 5a8 cells with KL-2 in combination with the non-canonical NF-kB agonist, AZD5582, induced potent reactivation of HIV-1 transcription. To determine gene expression patterns impacted by treatment of cells with these latency reversing agents alone or in combination, bulk mRNA sequencing was performed. J-Lat 5a8 cells were treated with DMSO, KL-2, AZD5582, and KL-2 + AZD5582 for 48 hours and then RNA was extracted from each treatment group and used for next-generation sequencing on the Illumina NovaSeq X Plus with 150 bp paired-end reads.
