Bacterial metagenome information in raw milk and environmental samples collected from large-scale farms in Shandong Province, a major raw milk producing region in China. Environmental samples were collected that were closely related to raw milk production and where bacteriological control measures could be easily carried out. The four types of environmental samples were groundwater from the farm, cow drinking water, pasture and cow udder swabs.
