Whole genome sequencing of Colletotrichum siamense

Whole genome sequencing of the causal organism of new leaf spot disease of Hevea brasiliensis in India. In recent years, Hevea brasiliensis was infected by a new disease characterized by the presence of brown circular spots on leaves which was followed by severe leaf fall in rubber plantations. This fungal species was identified as Colletotrichum siamense, whole genome sequencing carried out under the illumina Novaseq 6000 platform.
