Naji Abdullah Muhammad (106 years old) interviewed by Firas al-Jaraiseh. <br>He discusses the following: locust plague of 1915 and the drought of 1916; when the locusts came they destroyed everything and left the people with no food; people used to eat the locusts which he describes as delicious (2 different ways to eat them); Ottoman military conscription; conditions improved when the British came. <br>Original audio recording: cassette tape. Transcript: summary. In the original collection at Bethlehem University this cassette tape was categorised as File 24 of Box 18. <br>This fileset exists as part of the Ottoman Empire and World War I collection within the Bethlehem University Oral History project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.<br>
