Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1969, Omnibus no. 08

Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1969 comprises 11 omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in 1969. This data material contains information from omnibus no. 08. # #Each survey contains a number of demographic variables common to all the surveys of that year, as well as a number of questions dealing with topical events. # #The questions common to all 1969 omnibuses are: degree of urbani- zation; sex; age; marital status; number of persons in household (children/adults, over/under 15); occupational status of head of household; total income of family; the respondent's occupational status; the respondent's educational status; the respondent's in- come; position in household of respondent and spouse; occupational status of housewife; social class; type of dwelling; and party preference. # #The special questions in this omnibus deal with the following issues: # #Danish membership of NATO; attitudes to TV and radio coverage of the European Athletics Championship in Greece; attitudes to a boy- cott of the Championship; news coverage of the Greek Junta and of conditions in Greece; health; male and female nurses; attitudes to Israel and the Arab states; attitudes to Gladsaxe (Danish) and Rhodes (Greek) becoming twin towns; attitudes to Radio Denmark's coverage of the World Chanpionship in bicycling in Czechoslova- kia; and attitudes to military service for women
