POLLEN AND PHYTOLITH ANALYSIS OF SEDIMENT FROM PAl PAl INDIAN HABITATION SITES AND A CONTROL SITE IN BAJA CALIFORNIA NORTE, MEXICO

Ten sediment samples from two cultural settings and a control setting were examined for pollen and phytoliths. These samples are part of a study of the modern record of human activity at these sites, which are currently occupied. Sites A and M represent areas of occupation, while site C represents the control setting. Pollen and phytolith analysis yielded an abundance of remains.本研究针对两处人类活动遗址与一处对照区域的10份沉积物样本，开展了花粉（pollen）与植硅体（phytoliths）检测分析。该批样本隶属于一项针对当前仍在使用的上述遗址的现代人类活动记录的研究。其中，遗址A与M为人类活动聚居区域，遗址C则作为对照点。经花粉与植硅体分析，共获取了大量遗存标本。
