EPC 1770 lies on the eastern edge of the Surat Basin and is located approximately 20km southwest of Dalby, within the Darling Downs region of SE Queensland. EPC 1770 comprises 111 sub-blocks and is located approximately 30 km South West of Dalby in the Surat Basin in South-East Queensland.
The primary objective within EPC 1770 is to understand and quantify the potential coal resource contained within the Jurassic Walloon Coal Measures in the Surat Basin and assess its potential for conventional mining processes.
The 12 November 2019- 11 November 2020, approved work program was Desktop Studies, Geophysical Data Reprocessing, Consultancy Studies and as such New Emerald Energy is in full compliance.
