Vulnerability Functions for Coastal Flood Risk Assessment in İzmir (Türkiye): Depth–Damage Curves and Maximum Damage Values

This dataset contains vulnerability functions used to estimate economic losses from coastal flooding in İzmir under CLIMAAX Project. Vulnerability defines how susceptible exposed assets are to damage as a function of flood depth. Contents JRC depth–damage curves (JRC_damage_curves.csv) LUISA land-use damage curves (LUISA_damage_info_curves_izmir.xlsx) Maximum damage values per land-use class (maxdam_luisa.csv) Methodological Role For each land-use class: Flood depth is intersected with land-use raster. Corresponding damage ratio is obtained from depth–damage curves. Economic loss is computed using maximum damage per m².
