海南尖峰岭热带山地雨林60公顷样地不同空间尺度物种多样性数据集

To investigate the scale-dependent spatial distribution patterns of species diversity in the Jianfengling region, Hainan Province, the authors carried out field surveys of species diversity at six spatial sampling scales within the 60 hm² forest monitoring plot of tropical montane rainforest in Jianfengling, Hainan from December 2010 to July 2012: 5 m × 5 m (24,000 quadrats), 10 m × 10 m (6,000 quadrats), 20 m × 20 m (1,500 quadrats), 40 m × 40 m (375 quadrats), 100 m × 100 m (60 quadrats), and 200 m × 200 m (15 quadrats). The origin of the southwest corner of the plot has coordinates 18°43′41.0″N, 108°53′59.6″E, and an altitude of 870 m. Based on the field survey data, the authors calculated species richness, species abundance, Shannon-Wiener index, Simpson index, and Pielou evenness index for quadrats at each scale, thereby compiling the species diversity dataset of the 60 hm² tropical montane rainforest plot in Jianfengling, Hainan across different spatial scales. The data indicate that the maximum species abundance in 200 m × 200 m quadrats in Jianfengling can reach 35,312 individuals. This dataset contains geographical location data of the plot and species diversity data of the plot at various spatial scales. The dataset is stored in .kmz, .shp, and .xls formats, with a compressed size of 2.23 MB.
