VPRS 11205 Salary History Cards

This series was created by the Accounts Branch of the Premiers Department (VA 2717) during the period 1954 to 1982.The series is a collection of the salary history cards which contain information including:name of the employeeemployee numberdate of birthhome addressdate of appointmentdivisionrate of salaryrate of taxationrate of superannuationrate of other deductionsnet salaryThe totals of gross earnings, superannuation and tax deductions shown on each card were used as the basis for the preparation of taxation group certificates which were handed to the officers after the close of the year.In 1974 the format of the cards was slightly altered and the size reduced. Some of the cards were accompanied by separate superannuation cards.
