The present invention addresses the problem of providing a fluffed cellulose having a completely novel property which is conventionally unknown， and a fibrous cellulose-containing material which enables the achievement of the same. The present invention pertains to a fibrous cellulose-containing material which contains a fibrous cellulose having an anionic group， wherein: the fibrous cellulose-containing material shows a yield of 50 mass% or greater， said yield being measured by the following measurement method; the fibrous cellulose-containing material has an organic onium ion as a counter ion to the anionic group; and the organic onium ion satisfies a preset requirement.
