Replication data for: New method to determine near-surface currents from measurements of the wave spectrum

The contents here include data and analysis scripts in MATLAB used to produce the figures of the the manuscript \"An improved method for determining near-surface currents from wave dispersion measurments,\" submitted to the Journal of Geophysical Research: Oceans, April, 2019. Data of wave spectra atop various shear flows generated in the laboratory are included, processed from measurements of the free surface gradient in space and time using a synthetic Schlieren method. Also included are measurements of the surface tension, and particle image velocimetry measurements of the streamwise flow as a function of water depth.
