Galilee hydrogeological cross section of the Burdekin river basin

## **Abstract** \n\nThis dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme. The parent datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.\n\n\n\nThis dataset provides a hydrogeological cross-section of the Galilee subregion along the extent of the Burdekin river basin. The cross-section is to be viewed using Esri ArcScene software.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\n- A cross section line was traced along the boundary of the Burdekin river basin polygon, and a 1m buffer applied to convert the line into a polygon feature.\n\n\n\n- Top of formation elevation raster layer for each hydrogeological formation of the Galilee subregion, including the 1 second DEM, were converted to TIN layers.\n\n\n\n- The 'Extrude Between' tool was used to create cross section GeoVolume features along the cross section polygon, for each hydrogeological layer.\n\n## **Dataset Citation** \n\nBioregional Assessment Programme (2016) Galilee hydrogeological cross section of the Burdekin river basin. **数据集历史**

- 沿伯德金河流域多边形的边界描绘剖面线，并通过1米缓冲区将该线转换为多边形要素。

- 将加利利次区域各水文地质地层的顶面高程栅格图层（包含1秒分辨率数字高程模型（1 second DEM））转换为不规则三角网（TIN）图层。

- 针对各水文地质层，使用"Extrude Between"工具沿剖面多边形生成剖面地理体（GeoVolume）要素。
