A General Simulation System for Housekeeping Platform and Payload Function Interfaces

The Housekeeping Platform and Payload Function Interfaces Simulation System (HPPFISS) is a crucial development assurance system utilized in the development of satellite platforms. Its primary function is to test the functionality and performance of On-board Data Handling (OBDH) products to ensure their correctness and robustness. However, different satellite platforms have varying interface simulation system requirements, necessitating the development or redevelopment of interface simulation systems for each task. To address this issue, a universal HPPFISS with strong versatility is proposed in this article. The system can be directly applied to various development tasks through simple configuration operations, reducing the investment in simulation systems and accelerating development progress. The HPPFISS is based on the concept of reconfigurable design, ensuring its generality at the program, hardware, and FPGA levels. Testing has been conducted to verify the feasibility and universality of the system proposed in this article.
