Application to the Formation of Gullies". - Data_Figure1_vap1D.txt is a 1333 x 3 comma separated table of floats in ascii format containing the water vapor mass mixing ratio of the water vapor in the first layer (~5 m) of the 1D model for a water vapor content of 15 pr-μm (2nd column) and 25 pr-μm (3rd column). Time (in sol) is given in the 1st column. This file was used for the generation of Figure 1a. - Data_Figure1_vapGCM.txt is a 2676 x 2 comma separated table of floats in ascii format containing the water vapor mass mixing ratio (2nd column) of the water vapor in the first layer (~5 m) of the 3D model t a latitude of 56.25°N (longitudinally averaged) for present-day Mars. Time (in sol) is given in the 1st column. This file was used for the generation of Figure 1a. - Data_Figure1_frost1D.txt is a 1333 x 5 comma separated table of floats in ascii format containing the mass of water frost (in kg.m^-2) modeled by the 1D model. 2nd column is for m = 25 pr-μm, tau = 1 sol; 3rd column is for m = 15 pr-μm, tau = 1 sol; 4th column is for m = 25 pr-μm, tau = 1/2 sol; 5th column is for m = 15 pr-μm, tau = 1/2 sol. Time (in sol) is given in the 1st column. This file was used for the generation of Figure 1b. - Data_Figure1_frostGCM.txt is a 2676 x 2 comma separated table of floats in ascii format containing the mass of water frost (in kg.m^-2, 2nd column) modeled by the 3D model at a latitude of 56.25°N (longitudinally averaged) for present-day Mars. Time (in sol) is given in the 1st column. This file was used for the generation of Figure 1b. - Data_Figure_2_ModeledvsMeasuredGlacier is a 1491 x 2 comma separated table of floats in ascii format containing the measured latent heat flux (in W m^-2, 1st column, absolute value given), and modeled latent heat flux (in W m^-2, 2nd column, absolute value given) made in an ice glacier in Purcell Mountains (Fitzpatrick et al., 2017). This file was used for the generation of Figure 2b. - Data_Figure_2_ModeledvsMeasuredAntartica.txt is a 1255 x 2 comma separated table of floats in ascii format containing the measured sublimation rate (in mm/day, 1st column), and modeled sublimation rate (in mm/day, 2nd column) made in an ice-covered lake in the Dry Valleys of Antarctica (Clow et al., 1988). This file was used for the generation of Figure 2c. - Data_Figure3_latitude.txt is a 49 x 1 comma separated table of floats in ascii format containing the latitude used to generate the filled-contour plot in Figures 3a, 3c. - Data_Figure3_longitude.txt is a 65 x 1 comma separated table of floats in ascii format containing the longitude used to generate the filled-contour plot in Figures 3a, 3c. - Data_Figure3_frost_map_obl35_Lsp90.txt is a 49 x 65 comma separated table of floats in ascii format containing the maximum seasonal water frost thicknesses (in millimeters) when the obliquity is set to 35°, Lsp = 90°. This file was used for the generation of Figure 3a. - Data_Figure3_Tmax_frost_obl35_Lsp90.txt is a 7485 x 1 comma separated table of floats in ascii format containing the daily-maximum surface temperature (in Kelvin) when water frost is present at the surface, over the whole martian year. The obliquity is set to 35°, Lsp = 90°. This file was used for the generation of Figure 3b. - Data_Figure3_frost_map_obl35_Lsp270 is a 49 x 65 comma separated table of floats in ascii format containing the maximum seasonal water frost thicknesses (in millimeters) when the obliquity is set to 35°, Lsp = 270°.
