Total genomic DNAs of Ampelocissus were extracted from fresh or silica-dried leaves and weresequenced using the Illumina HiSeq platform by Novogene BioinformaticsTechnology (Beijing, China). The libraries were generated with 0.2 μg DNA persample using the NEBNext® Ultra™ II DNA Library Prep Kit for Illumina (NewEngland Biolabs, MA, USA) following the manufacturer's recommendations. Thepooled libraries were sequenced using the BGISEQ-500 platform at BGI Shenzhen(China). For all samples, approximately 6–10 gigabases (Gb) of 2 × 150 bppaired-end reads were generated.
