Water column and sediment porewater nutrient concentrations from lagoon, river, and ocean sites along the Alaska Beaufort Sea coast, 2018-ongoing

Several water types (lagoon, river, ocean) and surface sediment porewater from the coastal Beaufort Sea system are sampled seasonally to investigate temporal and spatial shifts in nutrient dynamics. Surface and bottom water samples, and surface sediment samples are collected during full ice cover (April), ice break-up (mid-June to early July), and open water (late July and August) periods, and analyzed for ammonia, nitrate + nitrite, orthophosphate, and silicate concentrations.本研究对沿岸波弗特海（Beaufort Sea）系统内的多种水体类型（泻湖、河流、海洋）及表层沉积物孔隙水开展季节性采样，以探究营养盐动力学的时空动态变化。研究分别于冰封期（4月）、融冰期（6月中旬至7月初）与无冰开阔水体期（7月下旬至8月）采集表层与底层水体样品、表层沉积物样品，并对其中的氨氮、硝态氮+亚硝态氮、正磷酸盐及硅酸盐浓度进行检测分析。
