Dataset – Psychosocial correlates of smoking status at head and neck cancer diagnosis

Explanatory Memo README – Dataset Description This dataset accompanies the manuscript entitledSmoking status at head and neck cancer diagnosis: cognitive and motivational differences rather than emotional distress The dataset contains cross-sectional data collected from patients newly diagnosed with head and neck (ORL) cancer at the time of diagnosis. Participants completed a set of self-report questionnaires assessing smoking behavior, time perspective, cancer-related locus of control, anxiety and depressive symptoms, and perceived loneliness. The dataset is provided in Excel format (.xlsx). Variables are organized from column A to column BR, as detailed below.
