Meteomatics Rainfall radar & lightning imagery - Extensive coverage across Europe

Meteomatics radar composite the following areas: Austria, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, France, Germany, Italy, Luxemburg, Switzerland, UK & Ireland, Netherland. Meteomatics users are also able to combine lightning data to create a single image, useful to track the track and communicate the impacts of severe weather events such as thunderstorms. Meteomatics API provides global lightning data with a temporal resolution of 1 second and a spatial resolution of up to 50 m. Historical global lightning data is available back to 2008
