" Abstract\u2014 This paper presents a transformative power electronics architecture that integrates hybrid renewable energy with advanced multilevel inverters (MLIs) to achieve unprecedented power quality in microgrid applications. The proposed system combines solar (234 V) and wind (271 V) generation through a stabilized 876.6 V DC bus feeding 5-to-9-level MLI configurations. Experimental results demonstrate that the 9-level cascaded H-bridge (CHB) inverter reduces total harmonic distortion (THD) to 0.311%\u2014a 45-fold improvement over conventional two-level inverters. This breakthrough enables brushless DC motors to achieve 91.79% efficiency while delivering 9.53 N-m torque, and induction motors to attain 109.3 N-m torque at 81.46% efficiency. System-wide innovations include 96.1% reduction in battery harmonic losses during electric vehicle (EV) charging, extending battery cycle life by 2.5\u00d7, and a 10.45% increase in EV driving range. The architecture establishes new benchmarks for harmonic suppression, motor drive performance, and EV charging quality, validated through comprehensive MATLAB\/Simulink simulations and mathematical modeling"
