The Municipal Bond Pricing dataset, originated from IHS Markit, provides independent mark-to-market pricing with access to transparency metrics and liquidity scores on US Municipal bonds.
Our municipal pricing methodology incorporates the financial condition of each state and municipality, uses of proceeds and other factors at the issue level to drive movements in price. To support immediate price updates on instruments, our methodology incorporates unique market color fueled by parsing technology that extracts OTC pricing content from messages in real time along with data from the Municipal Securities Rule Making Board (MSRB). Our Municipal Bond pricing system has undergone a SOC 1 review.
This dataset includes:
- Pricing and analytics on 1 million Investment grade and High yield bonds
- Intraday price updates to support price discovery in the secondary market, valuation or to calculate net asset values of portfolios and assist in risk management
- Liquidity Score and additional transparency on number of dealer quoting, trades
- Historical coverage from 2011
